CitySocialising is an on and offline community developed to help sociable professionals meet new Leeds and Bradford friends and new people to socialise with, whilst doing the things they enjoy and exploring the local area. CEO and founder of CitySocialising, Sanchita Saha, got underway researching and developing her idea for a real-world social network in 2005, with the help of the Princes Trust.

The trial site in London was a huge success, supporting and helping Londoners make new friends online and then develop friendships away from cyber-space. CitySocialising launched their first official network in London in January 2007 and followed up quickly with seven other UK cities' own CitySocialising services being launched in October of the same year including this one! In 2009, further cities were added to the network.
