What?
As we have such an amazing theatre on our door step why not make this average Tuesday evening theatre night! Showing at the moment is the wonderful Secret Garden, if you've not read the book you have almost definitely watched the film. So now its time to experience the play, city socialising style with new friends..
Went to:
West Yorkshire Playhouse
As the play starts at 7pm, I think its best we meet in the West Yorkshire Playhouse bar at 6.30pm. Try not to be late otherwise you wont get let in!

Further to speaking to the theatre, there is a fair bit of availablity in the left quarry. I think we should aim to book our tickets in rows A and B. Once you've booked just post a comment with where you are sat so others can book theirs near you! The tickets in this area are £19 and you need to book them directly with the theatre.
More about the Director and play..
Following in the footsteps of his acclaimed production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Ian Brown directs a spellbinding brand new musical adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett’s classic children’s novel that’s guaranteed to blossom in the imaginations of children young and old.
When ten year old Mary Lennox is suddenly orphaned she must make the journey from sun-baked India to live with her distant uncle in wintry Yorkshire. Spoilt and unhappy it’s only when Mary meets a local lad, Dickon, and learns of the lost garden that she begins to take an interest in the house, its inhabitants and the stories it holds. With the help of the wild birds and animals Dickon calls his friends, can the two of them find the key to the garden and unlock the secrets growing inside?
Exciting stuff! See you there..
